SolidHost Celebrates its 7th Anniversary

Last weekend was 07-07-07 (7th of July 2007). But much more importantly, SolidHost is celebrating it's 7th Anniversary.

SolidHost started its business in July 2000, when it was founded as one of many tiny hosting companies, with little to no budget at all. Throughout the years, most other hosting companies which originally started from scratch, simply didn't survive. SolidHost, however, grew out to become one of the leaders in the managed hosting branch. This was accomplished by aiming for steady growth, and taking quality over quanity.

Now that we are in our 8th year of business, we are mainly aiming to further enhance the quality of our services, and to add new services, complementary to our existing services. One of these services is pro-active support (more information will be published shortly), high-availability solutions and high-resource packages.

New website release

After several months of development, we are proud to release our long awaited new website. Not only does this new website provide a lot more detailed information about our services, it also features a new dedicated server range and in-depth information about our European facility. Another news bulletin will be released about this shortly.

First of all it might be important to note that some pages are still in active development, and several pages are still being optimized with CSS and images. Additionally the forums will be reorganized to be somewhat more functional and easier to use. Nevertheless, this will not compromise the usability of the website or our services.

With the release of this new website we are also launching a special offer, featuring a free control panel of your choice, with any of our VPS packages, for the lifetime of the account. More details about this offer can be found at here.
